Who writes this

CoronaService is founded and edited by Tayyab Sarwar. Tayyab isn't a doctor, and this site doesn't claim to be a clinical authority. What it aims to be is a reliable, plain-English summary of what official bodies are already saying, put in one place and kept up to date, so readers don't have to dig through dense official documents to find a straight answer.

How articles are researched

Every article on this site is researched and written in-house, then checked against guidance published by the NHS, GOV.UK, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the World Health Organization before publication. Where a claim can't be confirmed against one of these sources, we leave it out rather than guess. Articles are also revisited and updated as official guidance changes.
